How do I find a caregiver?

After signing up and subscribing to our family plan, you can browse caregiver profiles in your area, filter by location and hourly rate, and view detailed information about each caregiver's experience and skills.

Are caregivers verified?

Yes, all caregivers on our platform complete a verification process. We encourage families to conduct their own interviews and background checks as well.

What does the subscription include?

Your monthly subscription gives you unlimited access to search caregiver profiles, view full contact information, and message caregivers directly (messaging feature coming soon).

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I create a caregiver profile?

Sign up for an account, choose "Caregiver" during onboarding, and fill out your profile with your experience, skills, hourly rate, and availability. Subscribe to make your profile visible to families.

How do I set my rates?

You have complete control over your hourly rate. Set a rate that reflects your experience and the services you provide. You can update your rate at any time in your account settings.

Do I need certifications?

While certifications are not required, they can make your profile more attractive to families. We recommend highlighting any relevant training, certifications, or special skills you have.

How do families contact me?

Families with active subscriptions can view your contact information and reach out to you directly via email or phone. Direct messaging will be available soon.

HometownHands is available throughout the United States. You can find caregivers in your local area by searching with your ZIP code.

How much does it cost?

We offer two monthly subscription plans: $29/month for families seeking care, and $39/month for caregivers. Both plans give you full access to our platform features.

Is there a free trial?

Currently, we don't offer a free trial, but all subscriptions come with a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied.
